“Once an Indian, always an Indian.”
Minooka Lacrosse Corporation was established as a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit in the State of Illinois on March 13, 2008. The mission of Minooka Lacrosse Corporation is to provide the opportunity and means for all interested youth to learn about and participate in a high quality lacrosse program. We promote, develop, and encourage good sportsmanship and citizenship by student athletes on and off the playing field in the Minooka Community High School area, which includes the communities of Minooka, Channahon, Shorewood and Joliet, IL. We completed our inaugural spring 2008 season with one co-ed team of 19 student athletes. As of spring 2012, we have four levels for the boys. We are excited to announce our first boys varsity level team this season as the latest complement to the junior varsity and freshmen/sophomore teams. We are also thrilled to announce our first girls junior varsity team. We now have 78 boys and 21 girls playing the fastest growing sport in the country! We look forward to our continued growth and invite you to come support our student athletes! In the pursuit of our mission, Minooka Lacrosse strives to keep the costs to student athletes and their families as low as possible. This includes offering a scholarship program. We gratefully accept any and all tax-deductible donations to support our mission.
